Our Services

Digital X-Ray
X-ray imaging uses a small amount of radiation to create a picture of the inside of the body. It is commonly used to evaluate bones, detect fractures, and assess conditions in the chest such as infections or lung disease. X-rays are quick, non-invasive, and widely available.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to produce real-time images of organs and soft tissues. It is often used during pregnancy, as well as to examine the abdomen, pelvis, blood vessels, and heart. Ultrasound does not use radiation and is safe, painless, and non-invasive.

Mammography
Mammography is a specialized form of X-ray imaging used to examine breast tissue. It is an essential tool for early detection of breast cancer, often identifying changes before symptoms develop. The procedure is quick and plays a key role in routine screening and diagnosis.

Nuclear Medicine
Nuclear medicine imaging involves the use of small amounts of radioactive material to evaluate how organs and tissues are functioning. It is commonly used to assess the heart, bones, thyroid, and other organs, helping detect abnormalities often before they appear on other imaging tests.

Bone Mineral Density
Bone Mineral Density testing, often performed using a DEXA scan, measures the strength and density of bones. It is primarily used to diagnose osteoporosis and assess fracture risk. The test is quick, painless, and uses very low levels of radiation.

Cardiac Services
We are partnered with NovaMed to offer a range of cardiac diagnostic services, including EKG, Holter monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure (ABP – non-OHIP funded), echocardiography, and exercise stress testing.
